Day 97 - Amelia Earhart Test

Good morning! Today is February 8, 2011. This morning, we came straight in, unpacked, and headed down to P.E. We are doing the same thing as yesterday, tennis. We got our rackets, and practiced rolling the ball from racket to racket. Then, we paired off, and one person pitched the ball, and another person hit it. After we came back from P.E, we went over Calendar Math. After we did that, we went over homework. We got our packet of math checked and stamped, and then we went over our BP math homework. It took a long time, because most of the problems were really long. So, we went over problem 15, 23, and 24. We finally started our regular math at about 10:45. At 11:00, we had break. When we came back, we continued working on math until about 11:30. Then we did science. We worked on pages in our science notebooks until lunch.

When we came back, we took another look at the Han dynasty in Social Studies. We started off reading Agriculture. Before we did that, we did a little bit of work in our notebook. We also did Industry and Art. After that, we did HM. We read a story called “the Girl Who never Grew Up”. It was an interesting story, but didn’t have a satisfactory ending. We then got into book club groups and read our books. Then once we got back together, we took a test on Amelia Earhart. Once we were done, we were free to work on either our Emperor posters. Or some questions that we have to do later for HM. 3:30 came fast, so everyone did PSV and we left. Here’s the homework:
