Good morning! Today is Tuesday, February 15, 2011. This morning, we came in and did our normal routine, unpacking, putting our stuff in our desks, and getting started on Word of the Day and Calendar Math. At 9:05, we went to P.E. In PE, we did a tennis game. We get in a line on the wall. Then, two people go up at a time to have a spinner ball pitched to you. If you hit it in bounds, and it bounces twice without someone catching it, you can get back in line, but if someone catches it, then they get in and you go out to try and catch a ball. At 9:45, we went back and our teacher showed us a chat program where we could talk to him to get help on work, and to collaborate with other students on work and class projects. We then worked on our SS CBA. We got to the point where we did our introductory paragraph and did our title. Then, 12:10 came, and we went out for lunch and recess.
When we came back, we started a Math Cheat sheet. On one side we did generic math, and on the other side we reserved it just for geometry. When we got done, we did appointment wheels and worked on 4.3. After that, we got into book club groups and read our books. Then at 3:10, we watched a science video that was all about; magma, the continents, tectonic plates, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes. Scientists believe that the continents were once joined, because they found two almost identical fossils on two different continents. We stopped the movie at 3:25 to do jobs and PSV. Then we all went home. Here’s tonight’s homework:
