This morning in class we came in and unpacked. Then we did our calendar math. Then it was time to go to PE. At PE we got to go outside and do some relay type of races and just some fun field games. We could do the animal grab, the hurdles, a race, the ladders, and the cone pickup. When got to stay out for about 40 min and then we had to go back to class. When we got back up to class we went over our homework. Well actually we did our calendar math for a little and then went over homework. So we did some daily math as usual and worked on that until it was time for break.
At break we had our yummy snacks and did a lot of talking. After break we would have normally done science but for a little we kept working on our daily math. After about 15 more minutes of working on that we put our stuff away and then moved onto science. Then at about 11:20 we watched a video on cells. It showed when microscopes were first invented and how they worked back then. It also showed some real cells and how they can use cells to make skin! It was a little gross but really cool! So then by the time the video was done it was time to go to lunch and recess.
Most people stayed in the classroom and helped set up Halloween decorations. Our classroom has turned into an awesome Halloween room. We have spider webs, streamers, and pumpkins, and banners and it is very, very cool! We also have a black light and glow in the dark fangs! So we went to lunch after the decorating. Then when we came back we did social studies. We had magazines and would cut out pictures for certain things. Then we went down to the computer lab. We were there up until 3:00. We worked on our bridge to Terabithia essay. And then we came back up to class. Then we looked at what the costumes design and the theme set of Hamlet would be when we see it. It is an old and modern theme. A little bit militaristic. Then we got five minutes to finish up our social studies. Then it was time for jobs and then time for pack stack and vac. Then we went home!
